  1. Part of the video is unfortunately wrong. A bank does not need to get money from private person who put there savings on a bank account! The bank can give credit to anyone by just writing the amount of credit to a bank account. This should urgently be corrected by Kurzgesagt, because the myth is sometimes also taught in universities. Maybe a video how the bank system works in reality can be produced?

  2. I came to YouTube to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460.000 in 2 months for 70.000. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things. But I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas

  3. I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

  4. It's fascinating how we are so addicted to something that doesn't really exist. Or,.I mean.. Especially today, we use credit cards more than cash. So money is just… nothing really.. It's actually nothing even in hard cash.
It's just paper we have decided have certain values.

  5. You completely glossed over fractional reserve banking: the money bank loan are made from thin air, not from the deposits of borrowers. So long as the bank maintains a fractional cash reserve ($10 loaned for every $1 in kept in reserve), banks literally create money to loan out.
